- I haven't read Insanely Great, but I have read Hackers. While I'm
- disappointed in his 64 coverage, I don't hold it against him because
- Hackers is NOT a history book, it's three very distinct tales set against
- the backdrop of a very specific genre (Tixo and PDP, Altair and
- successors, and Apple II).
-
- Hackers is a good storybook and great insight into some great times.
- Would I have liked a bit on the 64 or PET? Sure, but he didn't/couldn't
- find stories about them he wanted to tell.
